Staff person highlights

Jordanian Johnson

Jordan has been on staff with 7 Thunders from a little over 2 months now and has proven to be a great accomplice. He has been a part of the IHOP family for over 2 years while leading for many worship teams, including co-leading on our Furnace Prayer Team. He is a joy to have around as well as an encourager and motivator for the team. Jordan is easy to get along with and someone who builds the team up in the Lord. He has great techno- music skill that has been an amazing asset to the team. He is an overall friend and brother in Christ, we love him.

This summer

This summer has been a season of major change as a whole of the ministry in the realms of staff, vision, excellence, community, and pursuit of the Word of God. Nearly the whole staff currently has joined as of this summer but has become so tight in friendship and love contradictory to what the time period would seemingly testify of. The whole staff has been involved with the Furnace Prayer Team, which has increased our strength as a team and a community of believers. Our vision and mandate as of right now has been focused upon the Mid-West for building and laying up foundation of hearing the voice of God and as well as knowing the vision of the House of Prayer. We are beginning to equip to send missionaries from our House of Prayer to go for a day or a weekend and infuse theses messages into the heart of different cities all across the Mid-West.

In relation to this, our staff has begun to get on a schedule that we may keep our focus and connected to our individual vision, excellence in faithfulness and responsibility, intentionality that we may avoid the tyranny of the urgent and increase integrity, and the effectiveness of “success” in our day-to-day life.

The Furnace Prayer Team

The team is growing in leaps and bounds in friendships and in relationship with God. We have seen how unity on the heart level brings about true joy in His presence, growth in friendship, ascension into the heart of God, and authority in the Spirit. The rhythms and dynamics that have hemmed the team together with God are undoubtedly the times of fellowship while going deep in the Word of God. The meditation or the chewing of the Word has stirred zeal and passion in our hearts to remain in His presence and to realize how truly desperate we are for God. We have learned that this is truly ministry unto God and as we stand in His presence and minister the written Word back to Him, this is His inheritance in the saints. To have a kingdom of priests (Ex. 19:6) is what the Lord desired of a nation released from the bondage of slavery so that they might worship Him forever. Just as Israel was called so are we called to stand, serve, minister, and burn incense to our God (2 Chron. 29:11).

Heb. 5:12-14

Trips

Council Bluffs , Iowa- A testimony of the faithfulness of God to equip and prepare His bride for the hour of time that is quickly approaching human history. Kirk and the team helped minister at a conference that was put on by the Council Bluffs House of Prayer held in a local church. We ministered to 210 people who received personal prophecy with a cassette tape to take home. The conference impacted all those who attended by giving them a revelation of the worthiness of God to have a clean and spotless bride. Many were trained and empowered to walk and grow in the gift of prophecy as well as released to run pursue God with abandonment and zeal. The pastor and elders of the church walked away ruined by God for anything else knowing that they couldn’t do “church as usual” anymore. To add to this, we took an offering one night that released one of the leaders in their House of Prayer to be a fulltime intercessory missionary.

Upcoming Trips
