7 Thunders Newsletter
October, 2005

Much has been happening in this last month within 7 Thunders. Recently, on October 15th, Isaac Bennett and Morgan Hennigan were joined in marriage. The ceremony was held in Cookeville , TN , which is Morgan’s hometown. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, as most weddings are. But something was different about this one. You could feel the tangible presence of God. You could almost see Him smiling down on them. It truly was a blessed marriage.

Also, Andy and Bek Hickman have now returned to New Zealand to have their baby amongst family and such. They feel the Lord is telling them to stay for an extended amount of time to help support the House of Prayer there and to really labor in prayer for their home country.  This was of course very difficult for all of us to say good-bye, but we know that it is God’s will and we will see them once again. They will continue to serve on staff with 7 Thunders as much as they can with their new baby girl.

Transition

This past month has been a “seek the Lord” month for the whole team as we have just gotten back from our Summer of Siege.  God has disrupted all of our lives in such a way that we could not go back to life as normal. We all knew that God had something big in store for us. As most of you know, we have been closely connected with Lou Engle in Washington D.C. and Bound4Life in Charlotte , NC . We have been up to Washington D.C. several times to partner with Lou in conferences and such and more recently we took a trip down to Charlotte, NC to check out the Bound4Life Base down there and to see some friends.

With prayer and understanding from the Lord we have felt that the Lord has invited us to go build the House of Prayer in Charlotte , NC ( Fort Mill ). The property we will be on is the old Heritage USA and PTL property that Jim Bakker owned for years. It is now under construction and they’re rebuilding parts of it. This is also where MorningStar Fellowship is based and a few other ministries are based. Bound4Life is based there also and the Bennett’s and 7 Thunders have been asked by Chuck Mervin and others to come and Father and Mother a House of Prayer there.

The location of the House of Prayer will be in building that was used as a general store when Heritage USA was up and running. It has been abandoned for the past 17 years and is going to need a lot of work to fix it up. Pray that God gives provides finances and grace to be able to accomplish this.  We believe that God has divinely planned this and that He truly has gone before us and prepared the way.

This is a big move and will take a lot of work so we ask for your prayers for the Bennett family and for an easy transition. Mike Bickle and the leadership team in the House of Prayer Kansas City are cheering us on and will be officially sending us out with prayer and an offering at some point in November with the thoughts of us leaving in December if everything goes smoothly. We feel from the Lord to take 100 intercessory missionaries with us to help build the house of prayer.

 Prayer Requests:

      * The 7 Thunders staff  – Luke Ahrenholtz, Courtney Arrington, Katie Bennett, Andy and Bek Hickman, Rebekah Myers, Mercy Falkner, and the siege teams. That the Spirit of Grace and supplication would continue in them to pray and prophesy as we make this transition to Charlotte/Fort Mill.

  * Kirk - Pray that he has understanding and revelation on a Priesthood Culture of Life

  * Dee- Total and complete healing of Dee ’s thyroid. There is a growth diagnosed as a cyst. We have decided to pursue the healing hand of God for this disease after 20 years of medication. Pray Psalms 103:2-3 Also for special grace to be upon her as she takes on this task of packing and moving 15 hours away.

     * Isaac and Morgan- that God would bless them and give them new revelation as they have just been married.

     * Katie – Is carrying the sound of the Life Movement in her worship leadership.

  * Abby – Increased joy and zeal for God. Something of real power is continuing to happen with our children, and we’re asking for the Spirit to guard and disciple them in it.

    * The I.H.O.P.s – There are houses of prayer springing up all over the world. We have had the extreme privilege to be friends with an amazing number of them. Pray for ways to keep those friendships alive, viable, and strategic.

     * The Bennett’s - Pray for the health and well-being of our family, our finances, and understanding in our lives.

     * Pray the 22 word Prayer 7 times daily – Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation, God end abortion and send revival to America !

     * Trips - guidance and direction concerning this year.

     * Moving – That God would pour out grace and that things would move quickly and efficiently.

testify to this couple about Jesus and how He wants this baby that they want to abort. The couple wasn't for sure about what we were saying, but they ended up not going
